My husband and I are 1st time cruisers and want to go to Alaska. Are we better off booking the entire trip at once (land excursions and airfare) with the cruise line or what???? What are the best land trips to take???? Is it better to book air by myself or thru the cruise line?? |

Mimi - you might buy land excursions cheaper when you go shore, but the good, popular ones might be sold out. So if you have to have a land excursion, you can just buy it early with the cruise line.
As for the air ticket - see which one is cheaper i.e. the combined cruise line deal or the seperate deal, and pick that one. The price difference shouldn't be large, so if you're not very price sensitive, you might just book them together with cruise line. |
